A private space is usually a place that guarantees privacy and intimacy. When you spend time there, you know you can do whatever you want: you've created a barrier between you and everyone else. The installation is a room in which people can find privacy outside their own homes. The room has every comfort: a sofa, a table, a television, a mirror, some photographs on the walls, books, etc. In reality, however, this privacy is violated by a hidden television camera that films everything happening in the room and projects it on the wall of another room outside. People can choose whether to discover themselves by watching others (whoever watches the projections) or whether to be themselves because they think they are unobserved (whoever is in the room). Both cases give an illusion of freedom, as we are always the subject of inquiry by others.
