Cosmofonie is an audiovisual installation that multiplies combinations and suggestions originating from Stockhausen's works and papers. A generative sound system mixes, orchestrates, and elaborates Stockhausen's most well-known electronic compositions and segments of his interviews and lectures from the same video sources that were used to generate and elaborate the images. The images, which are the fruit of the elaboration of video and photographic sequences that document a few moments of Stockhausen's life, are mixed, overlaid, and elaborated on the basis of the sound impulses generated.
