This work represents the attack on the City of London in 2005.

The photograph is part of a 12-shot series in which the images are rarefied, immersed in an exasperated white and ready to disappear from one moment to the next. It is a metaphor for the precariousness of memory and of the historical conscience of a continuously erring contemporary society.
